ASSEMBLY ENGINEER (IN-HOUSE)

As an assembly engineer, you will work in the workshop. You contribute to the mechanical and/or hydraulic set-up and assembly of various machines, technical installations or logistics systems (or parts thereof), based on supplied drawings or available information. You work in a team and report to the foreman workshop.

What are your (main) tasks:

Participating in the mechanical and/or hydraulic construction and assembly of various machines, technical installations or logistics systems (or parts thereof)
Carrying out quality checks of both own and others’ work according to the work assignment
Operating lifting and transport equipment (e.g. fork-lift truck – only with certificate)
Supervising safety at (from) own workplace as well as other people’s workplace

What do you bring:

Education level VMBO 4 – mechanical
Experience with reading technical drawings (including E-plan)
In possession of a fork-lift truck and VCA certificate or willing to obtain these
Command of the English, German and/or Dutch language
In possession of driving licence BE
