When should you choose a rotating table?

For pallet transport, a rotating table is used when the transport direction of a pallet needs to be changed, without the pallet rotating in relation to the transport direction. This may be relevant, for example, when a barcode on the pallet has to be readable from the side of the conveyor.

An alternative for the rotating table is the perpendicular transfer unit. The perpendicular transfer unit can transfer the pallet from a roller conveyor onto a chain conveyor and vice versa.
